While the long libel trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is continuing. A list of consequences seems to damage the actor’s reputation. This includes his role in one of the most famous Disney franchises Pirates of the Caribbean.
In the latest statement during his appearance in a Virginia courtroom, it is confirmed the actor has shut down any chance of playing Jack Sparrow even if Disney will pay him “300 USD and a million alpacas”.
It is known that Johnny Depp has a long working history with Disney with a list of popular projects including Alice in Wonderland to Into the Woods. He was asked by Heard’s attorney, Ben Rottenborn about the article in a Daily Mail from October 2018 telling that he is no longer playing Jack Sparrow. Depp confirmed the statements were valid.
“I wasn’t aware of that, but it doesn’t surprise me,” replied Depp (via Variety). He then continued that Disney was playing safe.
Then, Rotternborn referred to Depp’s statement about his disinterest in the sixth Pirates film even though the opportunity arose.
“The fact is, Mr. Depp if Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a ‘Pirates of the Caribbean film? Correct?”
“That is true, Mr. Rottenborn,” said Depp replaying his question.
Johnny Depp’s Surprising Footage Smashed Up The Kitchen
A new video was played in the courtroom showing the actor smashed up the kitchen after drinking ‘mega pint red wine’. The video was secretly filmed by Amber Heard. Meanwhile, Amber Heard was almost in tears with her chin wobbling in the courthouse.
In the video, Depp repeatedly shouts ‘Motherf****! Motherf****!’ while punching the wall.
Roternborn asked Depp if the man in the video was being violent and Depp confirmed it was him.
“I was having a bad time. I don’t know what being regard to, but being illegally recorded by your chosen other is quite fitting with the rest of the photograph.’
Even though Depp admits he was violent, he said he didn’t touch Heard. Further, he questioned Amber Heard’s action on why she didn’t leave him if she thought the situation was scary. In the video, Depp also asked Heard to cut him with a knife while the actress tried to stop him and told Depp the knife was dull.
Alcohol and Drug Use
Earlier, the court was shown a picture of Johnny Depp in March 2013 with a glass of whiskey on the table and also some white lines of powder. Further, Rotternborn asked if the white powder was cocaine and Depp confirmed it appeared to be.
