This is very funny, (via The Master of Humor)
I love this ad - LOVE IT.
The Car in the brain logo is so great.
(If your a car lover, the show is good too.)
Remember back when Disney Channel was the wholesome choice for the kids of the 80’s? Well, I really dug the Herbie movies. They were cool, looking back maybe a bit cheesy, but dude, it was a car that had a personality. Serisouly, what kid wouldnt like it?
Well, as we all know, Lindsey Lohan is now going to star in the new one coming out June 22nd.
The artwork is amazing, it LOOKS very nice. The trailer wasnt so impressive tho.
It’s probably going to suck.
Remember Kids Inc. from the twilight of The Disney Channel Days … ?
Disney must have shown the Herbie Movies every day, and that Escape to Witch Mountain and the movies that always took place in Medville? The original Mickey Mouse club with Annette Funicello ….
I have the worst memory. I didn’t used to, when I was in school as a kid. I relied on my memory for tests quite often, but over the years, maybe from over usage, my memory is gone. I used to carry tons of little papers and business cards, and finally a couple years a go my wife got me a palm for my birthday, then this pas wedding anniversary I kinda hinted I wanted a new one that had an mp3 and photo viewer in it and got it
(thanks honey!)
Of course now, I still ask my wife constantly “honey, remind me in the morning to …” and she say’s you have a palm, why don’t you add that into it to beep in the morning. But I always forget to put things in there, sometimes I’m driving in the car and remember something to do, but can’t just take out the palm and put it on while I’m driving (although I have seen people doing that)
Lately, I have made a very serious effort to always add everything to my palm.
Impressed right?
Well, this morning I was thinking to myself, what did I want to remember to do this morning, racking my brain, can’t remember, so I e-mail my wife, and she say’s I don’t remember, sorry, why don’t you check your palm, I saw you put it in there.
That’s right! I did, Thanks Honey!
I reach into my briefcase, and open up that pocket and … I remember I left my palm at home, forgot to put it back into my briefcase after playing Tetris and listening to some podcasts on it last night in bed.
So much for remembering to remember. Maybe If I tied a string to it and stapled it to my forehead …
I just had some short comments on today’s holiday. Today is the day when we celebrate the memories of the soldiers who have died fighting for this great country. This country has given Jewish people the most freedom’s and love that we have ever received from any other nation in history. An image that I always recall during times when I’m thankful for America and the solider’s who keep it free. Is the image of American troops at the end of WW II, coming to the Concentration camps, freeing and releasing all the people held there.
In a way (I said in a way, not directly) Israel owe’s it’s birth to the death’s of so many American Solidiers.
Something else I was thinking is that we should never let Freedom of Religion in this country turn into being free from religion. The founding fathers created that concept to keep monarchs, priests, and dictators from forcing people to accept a particular religion. To allow people to freely practice any religion they wish to. In recent times we have seen a departure from spirituality in this country. Too often we hear about a school clamping down on “creationism” and pushing through agenda’s that seek to teach force evolutionism onto our children. Plus other recent news stories like The Ten Commandments being removed from court houses (a case the supreme court is taking on this session)
Last Friday afternoon, during Nachum Segal’s “Special Lag Ba’omer Webcast” he debuted a new song from the upcoming follow up Blue Fringe CD. It happens to have been a great song, they sound much more matured as musicians, the sound is very alt’ish rock. A bit heavier than their last cd, which to me is a good thing. Here is the link the audio for that show, the Blue Fringe song is played at 1 hour 8 minutes into the show.
You can click here to hear the other preview clips from Blue Fringe’s site.
I can’t tell forsure, but AOL’s “BlogZone” is missing from thier redesigned Main Page. AOL users click HERE
The French say no way misuear.
Chirac than went on to say:
“It is your sovereign decision, and I take note,” Chirac said. “Make no mistake, France’s decision inevitably creates a difficult context for the defense of our interests in Europe.”
Transalation: {{stamping feet}}} Aww, come on, but I WANT to go to the party, that club is gonna be the coolest of the cool, please? Can I? How are we gonna stick it to the americans if you want even let us join the club. It’s NOT fair!! Your soo mean!

Thanks to the gang at Algemiener Journal Blog I got the gajilion hits you sent my way, with your very kind words and links, Thanks for the recommendations.
See the yiddish praise they heaved at me HERE.
For the last 2 weeks it has been 6:20 PM in the babies room. Today at 3:00 PM I changed the battery. No need to thank me, just doin my job.
Barely 6 months since Mostly Music redid their online music store, they have now redone it again. This time having an even more modern feel to it. The look is impressive, they still have not updated any news or release info since their last “re-launch” but it looks great. It’s fresh, hip looking and like I said very modern. (especially for a store that’s actual store is in the “non modern” looking boro park)
Nachum Segal is now offering JM Cd’s online for sale as well. You can find his new online store here. I’m not sure how he makes the jump from playing to selling. But he does. His site is also done very nice, and both sites are easy to navigate and it’s simple to find things.
Sameach, still has no website and it’s doubtful that will change anytime soon.
I don’t get why Mostly Music went and redid it again, that’s sort of like the teenager that never cleans their room, but re-decorates and moves everything around once every 6 months, and that also serves as cleaning up.
One thing that bothers me are the prices, why in this age, are we still paying $14.99 plus shipping for a cd. That comes out to $17.50? Maybe $18.00? Total? Non Jewish music is being sold now for as low as $10.98 at places like Target, Best Buy or Circuit City. That’s for NEW music. The older stuff you can find on sale for even less.
Are these Jewish CD’s being made at some kind of Kashrus plant? Is there a Rabbi there that is being paid to supervise the production? They need to be sold for SO MUCH higher? There is no excuse for this, other than the simple fact that they can still get away with it cause no one is making a stink out of it.
This almost certainly comes back to what’s becoming my calling card on this blog, unethical business practices by frum jews. It cost the same to duplicate a Miami Boys Choir cd as a Nine Inch Nails cd, Maybe, MAYBE they have to pay a little more cause they order less, but how much more are they paying, on average a Jewish CD costs $4.00 more. That’s quite a high jump.
Matisyahu’s Live at Stubbs cd is being sold online for $9.99 and some places you could buy it for $8.50 or even $7.00. On the NEW Mostly Music, they are selling that SAME CD for 15.99!!!!
Doesn’t anyone else think that’s wrong?
Update: Mostly Caves, Read it HERE
